Khloe Kardashian's new boyfriend, rapper French Montana, hasn't said much about her to the press, but now that he's promoting his new single, "Don't Panic," he really has no choice. Well, I guess he could refuse to answer questions about her, but c'mon, he's a showman. He knows what sells. Montana spoke to the New York Daily News' Confidential gossip column and he opened up about their relationship, and even his feelings about Lamar Odom.
French has a reputation for being associated with the drug cocaine. His record label is called "The Coke Boys," and he has rapped about dealing the drug. So fans weren't thrilled when Khloe seemed to be going from one drug user to another. But French says, alluding to Lamar's crack alleged problem:
It’s a funny predicament situation. Crack and coke and everything altogether. So if you’re on the outside looking in, of course you’re going to be [confused]. I don’t know about his crack problem. With me, it’s just my label -- it’s just part of my music. I’m not an addict or nothing.
Hmm, hardly reassuring that he doesn't use the drug at all, but whatever.
Then he continues on the Lamar train of thought:
I don’t think it’s a problem with me and him. She was in love and grew out of love, for whatever reasons. I never ask. I never try to know. I just worry about me and her.
Hmmm. Given the amount of publicity Khloe's split with Lamar generated, he doesn't really need to ask anything to know everything. Hell, we all know what happened!
French also denies that he's in the relationship for publicity, on the one hand acknowledging that the show is huge and Khloe has an enormous fan base, while simultaneously saying that he "don't pay attention to that kind of stuff."
Ermkay. Obviously you DO, French, since you put Khloe in your video and have even appeared on KUWTK. But, as Kermit would say, that's none of my business.
Do you think French is the man for Khloe?
