Taylor Swift has a new boy in her life -- but it isn't what you think. Nope, she's not lost-in-love over this; just showing some serious love for one sick little boy by playing with him and singing to him as he battles cancer in the hospital.
Yup, it's another case of celebs doing good deeds, and basically we can't get sick of this. You hear that, Hollywood? We love you guys doing sweet things for kids with genuine challenges. That's exactly what Taylor Swift did for Jordan Lee Nickerson on Sunday, August 3, when she stopped by the Boston Children's Hospital.
This sweet 6-year-old was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome at just 9 months old. It's a rare neurodevelopmental disorder associated with cardiovascular problems. And because life isn't fair, Jordan also came down with leukemia last month. As if cancer is just something you come down with.
According to his Facebook page, "Jordan's Brave Page," this little sweetheart "faces a long struggle" ahead. "Jordan is the best little boy in the world," the page says. "He has overcome a lot in his short time and will continue to persevere."
That's where Taylor Swift comes in. She heard about his condition and decided to visit her darling little fan. Tay went to see Jordan and sang him one of his favorite songs, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
Do you love when celebs go out of their way to make a kid's day?
