Kailyn Lowry Reveals the Awful Truth About Co-Parenting With Jo Rivera

Kailyn LowryLife may seem pretty picture perfect for Kailyn Lowry, but this amazing mama has overcome a lot to get to where she is. It wasn't all rainbows and butterflies with her handsome hubby Javi Marroquin and sons Isaac and Lincoln forever you know. Even though things are going great for the Teen Mom 2 star for the most part, she recently admitted there's one thing in particular that she still struggles with.

Kail has to maintain a working relationship with her ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, as they co-parent their son Isaac. Considering how toxic their relationship was, it's a wonder these two can get along at all.

Their relationship has definitely had its ups and downs through the years, but we thought things were finally getting better this last week on Teen Mom 2. Kail and Javi visited with Jo and his girlfriend Vee Torres, and they all seemed to get along fine. Like a big, happy, somewhat awkward family in which one half of each couple used to have sex with half of the other couple.

Anyway, despite things looking all peachy-keen on the surface, Kail took to Twitter and confessed the truth about co-parenting with Jo.

The sad truth is that co-parenting will continue to be a work in progress until Isaac turns 18. Even after that there will be life events that will require Kail and Jo to work together for their son.

Dang, it's hard enough to parent your kids when you like their other parent, but when you have to do it with someone you'd never talk to again without your genes having mixed to create a new person, it's extra painful.

Kail and Jo (and Javi and Vee!) are doing the best they can and putting on happy faces for Isaac, which is the best thing they could possibly do for him, but it doesn't change the fact that co-parenting with an ex is an incredibly difficult task.

Do you think Kail and Jo are doing a good job staying friendly for Isaac's sake?
