Avril Lavigne Gets Stunning Anniversary Gift From Hubby Chad Kroeger (PHOTO)

Avril LavigneWho knew Nickelback was worth so much? The band's frontman Chad Kroeger recently celebrated his one-year anniversary with fellow Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne, and dang did he rock it with the gift. Traditionally, the first anniversary gift is paper, but Kroeger opted to upgrade the rock on his wife's ring finger instead. OK, I'll stop saying "rock" now. Sorry, couldn't help it.

Anyway, the "Complicated" singer took to Twitter on Thursday to brag on her hubby and show off her new bling, and it's absolutely stunning.

Holy moly! That thing basically covers her whole knuckle. Of course, the one she had before was nothing to sneeze at either -- in August 2012, the smitten (and generous!) Kroeger proposed with a 14-carat pear-shaped beauty just a month after collaborating in the studio together.

The couple married in the South of France in July 2013 with a mere 50 guests in attendance.

They've said that their secret to staying happily married (aside from their combined $105 million net worth) is simply spending time together and not allowing themselves to fall into compromising situations.

Avril told People magazine last fall, "We don't go more than two weeks without seeing each other," and Kroeger added, "And we don't drink when we're apart. We don't want to go anywhere that you're asking for trouble. This is something we want to cherish and protect."

Would you upgrade your engagement ring, given the chance?

I certainly wouldn't refuse an upgrade if we had the wealth of these two. I love my band but certainly do not need anything more than that. Besides, I would just be freaking out that I would lose that boulder!

It looks more like a cushion cut to me,but  I'm sure he knows what he paid for.
