joe giudiceAll right, there's no way of sugar-coating this: Sunday's episode of RHONJ? Snooze-fest. It was one of those non-episodes Bravo likes to throw in once or twice every season. Sure, it was entertaining to watch and a perfectly relaxing, blissfully mind-numbing way to unwind after a busy weekend, but good lordy, nothing happened. We saw the ginormous Christmas trees of Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga -- and the ungodly amount of gifts they gave their children (including a cute puppy for the Giudice girls). But other than that? Not a heck of a lot going on.

That said, though, we'd be remiss if we didn't discuss a couple of things. Let us chat.

First off, I will say it's nice to see Melissa and Teresa finally getting along. Sure, their arguing and bickering was what made up a good portion of the drama on the show last season, but I certainly don't think I'm alone in thinking that it became far more nails-on-a-chalkboardy than entertaining. Thank god that's over (for now).

Two, Nicole Napolitano's Christmas gift from her boyfriend: Need I say more? I'm not sure if you should immediately marry the man who buys you a wine bottle holder shaped like a stiletto or run for the hills. Amazing.

Three, anyone else get a little verklempt when Dina Manzo and her daughter, Lexi, went on a lone holiday walk through the woods and cast stones into the lake? They're so cute together, and it's hard not to feel bad for Dina, being that she's going through a divorce and losing her daughter to college at the same time. Hopefully, Lexi will get into NYU so she's not too far from Dina.

And lastly, there was the final scene, which, to be honest, seemed rather rehearsed, of Joe and Teresa sitting beside the fire, discussing the many "what-if"s of their future. It was nice to see Joe show a little emotion (even if it was just for the cameras), but the dude really needs to learn to say "prison" as opposed to "vacation," "going away," "college," etc. Time to face the music, buddy. You do the crime, you do the time. Or at least, you know, talk about the time.

Lame, Bravo. Hopefully, next week will bring on the drama!

What did you think of tonight's episode? Total snoozefest, right?
