Is This Video Proof Tim McGraw Slapped the Crap Out of a Fan? (WATCH)

Tim McGrawNote to self -- if you ever get to touch Tim McGraw for any reason whatsoever, remember to let go, lest you want to get bitch slapped by the country music superstar. That's kind of what happened to one concert-goer last weekend, as the studly singer made his way through the audience to give high-fives to his fans.

One feisty female fan grabbed onto McGraw's jeans and wouldn't let go! TMZ obtained video of the incident, and the chick in question actually held on so tightly that she ripped his jeans before he swatted her away and she was led away by security.

McGraw's rep defended his actions, saying, "At the end of the night during the encore, Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let go as he was moving through the crowd ... he instinctively swatted to try to keep them from ripping his jeans (which they succeeded at doing!), and so he could get to more fans who could slap hands with him before the end of the show."

"He didn't know who had grabbed him and was simply trying to keep his jeans from being torn," the rep concluded.

If you look at the TMZ video, you can clearly see the fan got a little, well, fanatical during Tim's performance of "Truck Yeah." I'd be kind of freaked out too if someone tried to rip my jeans off, and you can bet your bottom dollar I'd smack them away too.

Some people just need to learn some manners. When someone grabbed at Tim McGraw's crotch during a show back in 2007, his wife Faith Hill was not pleased. "Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend," she said of the grabby-handed fan at the time. "You don't go grabbin' somebody else's, somebody's husband's balls, you understand me? That's very disrespectful."

Hazards of having a super-hot, mega-famous, and uber-talented husband, I suppose.

Do you blame Tim McGraw for "bitch slapping" that fan?

He was being sexually harassed and he defended himself. If he were a female he'd be encouraged to do the same thing. Just because it was a female harassing a male does that make it not OK for him to defend his body? Im calling double standard on this one!

Movie... Moviebuff

He should have hit her harder.

For Pete's sake: Who would NOT swat someone away who was grabbing at ANY part of you, or any piece of your clothing?! Anyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves. (And if I were there, and a fan was screaming next to me as loudly as some of those fanatics were, there might have been a whole lot more swatting goin' on! Way to ruin it for everyone around you. Yeesh...)
