Stacy Keibler May Make Pregnant Women Who Eat Donuts Feel Bad

stacy keiblerMany were hating on Stacy Keibler when she was dating George Clooney simply due to the fact that she was dating George Clooney. But we all know that's long been over and George is engaged to Amal while Stacy is pregnant with husband Jared Pobre's baby.

Keibler is no stranger to fitness -- she was a professional wrestler and fitness buff. So of course she is a fit pregnant mama-to-be. And she's making some statements sure to offend pregnant women who enjoy donuts.

I'm currently hungry for a donut. Just the mention of a donut has me craving them. I'm not even pregnant. I just love donuts. And just because Keibler is anti-donut doesn't mean she should pick on donuts. What did donuts ever do to her anyway? Besides maybe add some pounds if she ate too many?

Well, Stacy thinks pregnant women should stay away from the donuts. She told Us Weekly:

I really truly believe that pregnancy is not a time to have an excuse to eat donuts. I haven't had any cravings believe it or not! [Pregnancy] is a time to be as healthy as you can be and build the foundation for your baby. I think that you should be even more conscious of what you're doing.

Should we label her a smug pregnant? Lucky Stacy has no cravings. I don't want to hate on her. I get what she's saying -- when we are pregnant we shouldn't overdo it. But come on ... let's enjoy a little donut (or three) here and there and not feel terribly guilty about it.

Donuts everyone are now vying for Keibler's attention. Don't make her comments get to you, pregnant mamas. I'm not pregnant, but I'll raise a donut with you. Also, how dare any women with the last name Keibler (sounds like Keebler) say anything bad about sweets? The Keebler elves must be so upset with her right now.

What do you think about Stacy's comment?

I can understand where Stacy is coming from. She's just saying that you shouldn't use pregnancy as an excuse to eat a bunch of junk. She used doughnuts as an example. I don't think it will make anybody feel bad. Treating yourself isn't bad, you just shouldn't overdo it.

What do I think about her comment? I think she is right. Pregnancy is not an excuse to pull your chair up to the pantry. Eat right and don't give in to all the cravings just bc you are "eating for two".

She didn't make me feel bad. I had a donut this morning.

You should eat as healthy as possible while pregnant.  That baby inside of you depends on it.  I'm not saying never have a small treat, but there is NO reason to not take care of yourself and your baby during pregnancy!

Not to mention, what does her last name have to do with anything?  Great writing *rolls eyes*

Curiously omitted is the fact that she also said she does have pizza parties where she indulges sometimes. It's not anything that doctors everywhere wont tell you.

I understand where she's coming from, you should be eating a bit healthier than what you were before pregnancy. I enjoy my sweets . She's talking more about the women who constantly use the "eating for two" and downing junk and sweets with every meal.

I've learned to be a lot less judgemental with each pregnancy/baby. She's sharing her experience. She'll (likely) learn not everybody can stomach eating all the fabulous fresh health food she's enjoying while they're pregnant.

Sorry, but when it's all you can do to eat sometimes, you're going to eat whatever you can keep down. Especially when you get nauseous just from smelling cooking food and anything super fresh (fruits) make you immediately run for the bathroom to toss your cookies. Yes I try to eat healthier now, but I also have all day morning sickness for 5 months (both pregnancies) and lose weight while pregnant because I simply can't eat or keep anything down. She's lucky to have such an uncomplicated pregnancy. Not everyone is so lucky and EVERYONE should keep it in mind that some women just have lousy pregnancies.

Tall, thin woman, first pregnancy, pregnant then got married, job has been to look good and fit. She needs to tell us exactly what she eats every day, how many calories, and what, before telling people what to eat. I'm betting she has a high metabolism by nature and eats a good bit of food daily.

Okay, I was curious and looked her up. She's 5'11" and weighs 132 lbs. Measurements 35 22 35. She's just a string bean. I don't think anything she has to say about food is of any importance to the real world.
