Kim Kardashian Has Some Advice for Working Moms

Kim KardashianYou guys -- Kim Kardashian has this whole working mom thing all figured out, and she has some advice for the rest of us. Apparently it's all about balance. Yes, that's right. Kim Kardashian has figured out the secret to motherhood, and it's all about balance.

"It is an adjustment trying to balance a career and motherhood for sure, but the key is to prioritize. You become more selective and work on projects that are so meaningful because you want every other waking moment spent with your family," the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said. "You have to remember though to make time for yourself. If you feel good, you will be happy in your career and family life and everyone is happy!"

All that prioritizing is something Kim apparently learned to do after she welcomed daughter North with Kanye West last June. A skill that likely came in handy when deciding how to celebrate Nori's first birthday a couple of weeks ago. I mean, do you go with the ferris wheel or the carousel for Kidchella? Ferris wheel it is!

Anyway, Kim gushed about motherhood, saying, "I love being a mom! It’s the most rewarding feeling! I really love every phase ... Just the way my daughter laughs with me, all of the small things in life you appreciate!"

That's apparently what made it so hard for her to go back to work after she was born.

Wait, what? What does she mean, "go back to work"? I think someone needs to tell her getting married is not a job. Geez, no wonder she does it so often (zing!).

So Kim has found the balance between being a happy mom and deciding what to wear to which parties to be photographed at. Got it.

It's easy to give advice about "finding time for yourself" when your whole freaking "career" is finding time for yourself while letting people photograph and film you.

Have we even talked about her entourage yet? I'm guessing life is pretty "balanced" when you have an entourage. Especially when your job is to look pretty.

Don't worry though, Kim had some actually practical advice on mothering babies ... it's so rough with all those international trips us working moms take all the time. "Jet lag can be tough to adjust to, especially for a baby," she noted. "think its important to travel with the necessities to make sure your baby gets a nap on the flight, and whenever necessary!"

Got it. The secret to being happy in life is to call being famous a "career," surround yourself with help, and make sure your baby naps on the plane. Thanks Kim Kardashian!

What do you think of Kim Kardashian's parenting advice?

she never mentioned a nanny or nurse for the baby. although she probably has both, since she has to get all glammed up to be filmed and have pictures taken.

Aunt Bimi

She needs to shut the fuck up! That thot seems to spend very little time with that baby and it will come back and bite her on that huge fat arse she lugs around

Who the hell cares what Kimmode Kartrashian says, she is an embarrassment to America. She has no experience as a mother, the tub of lard has a nanny that does all the work. Please go away Kimmode, no one cares what you think!! Ugh!,,

Yikes! I am not a mother, but even I feel kind of indignant about Kim thinking that she has to "prioritize" in the same challenging way that most moms do. Kim appears in periodic photos with North, in order to give the impression that she and her child spend a lot of time together. Well, that would be tough, as Kim clearly is out and about with her "selectively" chosen appearances and projects. She can only do this due to her nanny/ies: This is a far cry from what most moms do every day. Kim should try being a stay-at-home mom for one month ("Oh, I couldn't: My projects would suffer!"), and then let's hear from her about priorities.

I agree with Sandy and I am a working mother.

You're kidding me, right? A "working mom"? Obviously, this THOT doesn't know the definition of that phrase. Your claim to fame was a sex tape, honey. You've had more guys inside you than Alcatraz had prisoners. You haven't contributed a damn thing to society, and you have the audacity to try and feed us working moms this bullshit laced satire about prioritizing and balancing motherhood? I'm a 25 yr old mother of 3 boys, and I'm a firefighter. My husband is a cop. I get up every morning to make sure my kids are fed and clothed before my husband gets home at 11am. My day doesn't end until 2am. I'm chauffering kids to hockey, baseball, football, lacrosse practices. Cooking dinner (my husband and I take turns with the cooking), and dong laundry. I'm lucky to get 5 mins to myself before my 8 month old starts to cry. I, lie many other moms, don't have an entourage kissing my ass. So you can just keep your "advice" to yourself. Just because you birth a child doesn't make you a mother.

Seriously, did she say that? Doesn't she know what most of the public thinks about her and her "mothering" skills? Give her another sandwich and when she decides to give out advice to ANYONE on ANY subject, give her another one. Shut it Kim. Seriously.

I feel so bad for the baby girl having a mom like Kim that whole family are a waste of tv space. I don't think Kim knows anything about working mommies she gets things handed to her on a silver platter I would like to see her work a blue collar job and she how well she does.
