'Once Upon a Time' Casts 'Frozen' Characters Anna & Kristoff for New Storyline

Get excited, Once Upon a Time fans! Frozen is coming to Storybrook, and TVLine just announced the actors who will play Anna and Kristoff. Newcomer Elizabeth Lail has been cast as Queen Elsa's little sister, and Greek alum Scott Michael Foster will portray everyone's favorite royal ice vendor.

During the season 3 finale last May, the ABC show teased the addition of the Frozen characters to the plotline, when a blue liquid transformed into Elsa. Her face wasn't revealed, since they hadn't cast her yet, and it seems as though they still haven't. And just to make extra sure we knew that that was actually the Queen of Arendelle, the show's official Twitter account posted immediately after the episode aired, "Get ready ... #Frozen is coming to #OnceUponATime."

Oh my gosh, don't they already look just like them? Actually, Scott Michael Foster looks like Ashton Kutcher's long-lost little brother in my humble opinion, but that's not exactly a complaint.

TVLine describes Anna's character "as a fun-loving, fearless optimist who often gets herself into situations where she is in over her head, yet is able to triumph due to her resourcefulness and can-do spirit." So basically just like she is in the movie. Also in line with her Disney movie character, Anna apparently "values her relationship with her sister Elsa above all else."

Kristoff should be a fun one to watch -- it's reported that he'll be "adjusting to life at the castle" on the show, dealing with issues like learning to sleep inside for the first time in his life.

No word on if the trolls will make an appearance, but that would be so cool if they did. Nothing like singing, dancing trolls to improve an already great show.

Do you think these actors are good picks for Anna and Kristoff?
