Eminem's Daughter Must Have Really Made Her Dad Proud With Latest Accomplishment

eminemI think we can all agree that when thinking about Eminem, we don't exactly think about how he is as a dad. It's none of our business, really. We think about his songs, the lyrics, his actions that sometimes land him in the tabloids. But as a dad to a daughter? Well those thoughts about Eminem only pop up when his daughter Hailie gets herself in the news.

Thankfully, the latest news on Hailie Mathers doesn't involve name calling -- she called Taylor Swift a whore back in 2012 -- ooops! This time, we're all Go Hailie!

Hailie Jade Scott Mathers has come a long way since bashing Swift (she did apologize right away) -- she graduated with honors from Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Michigan. She received an Academic Excellence Award, a Department of Psychology Award, and graduated Summa Cum Laude, for maintaining a 3.9 or higher GPA.

Eminem can add a dose of happy to his next rap masterpiece! He must be one proud papa.

I can't believe I just called Marshall Mathers a papa. Wow. He's a dad! To a daughter! Can you imagine being a guy who wants to date Eminem's daughter? Gulp.

Hailie was even crowned Homecoming Queen last year. It's been reported that she wants to study psychology or entrepreneurship at Michigan State University. She has also thanked her parents when asked who were the people who were most influential during her lifetime. "My mother and father because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have."

Congrats to the Mathers!

Are you surprised by this news?

Not even the most pretentious, phony 'exclusive' high schools give out 'cum laude' awards. She made the Honor Roll. And good for her. But don't overstate it.

good for her and daddy never called her a pig but im sure you would forgive him if he did

Sally there was magna cum laude and cum laude at my inner city high school. In our whole school district actually.

Thats great for her. I'm not sure why thats news worthy though? Is she expected to be an idiot for some reason? I am sure he is very proud of her. And how to do not think of him as a dad? He has mentioned his daughter in his songs before and how he wants to do so much better for her then was done for him. I do not find that surprising at all.

Good for her! And Taylor Swift is a whore she just has a innocent look to her so people don't see it....but I am glad that as a daughter of a rapper and one that didn't have such a good upbringing I am glad to see she has succeeded! I am sure her father is super proud of her and it's a good thing he can pay for college! Lol.

I actually have always thought of Eminem as a "dad" because he raps about her in so many of his songs and have actually done songs that were popular about her and his relationship with her. You can tell that he's always loved her and did what he could to ensure she had some kind of stability in life. BTW this is the technological age where EVERYTHING is newsworthy....but I also don't come to TheStir to read "news" articles....opinions and puff pieces sure!

Sally, my high school, which was apparently "pretentious," designated graduates cum laude, magna cum laude and summa cum laude. So, that would make you.... wrong...
