Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard’s Wedding Registry Will Make for Interesting Gifts

Jill Duggar of 19 Kids & Counting fame and her fiancé Derick Dillard are young, in love, and they want to go to Starbucks and Panera Bread once in a while. So much so that they're asking for gift cards to the chains on their wedding registry. They wouldn’t mind a little Taco Bell and Raisin Bran cereal on the side with their Frappuccino either.

While many reality television stars have registries at places like Tiffany’s and Co. and other high-end retail departments, it looks like Duggar and Dillard will be happy with guests shopping in the gift certificate isle at their local Walmart ... or in their pantries.

In addition to bedding and mixers, the couple, who are set to tie the knot this Saturday, June 21, have registered for everyday items like Froot Loops, Cookies ‘n’ Crème, and Fruity Dyno-Bites cereals. They’re also asking for gift certificates to places such as Qdoba Mexican Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Papa John’s Pizza, and Subway.

While I’m sure there will be many people out there passing judgment on them –- where are the $4,000 soup tureens and $500 salt and pepper shakers, right? –- let’s not forget that these two kids are only 23 and 25-years-old. The last thing they want to do is spend money on a $2,800 knife set when a late night meal at Chipotle just sounds so much more appealing.

And even with all of the gift certificates and cereal on their registry, Duggar and Dillard aren't all their stomachs. The couple has also registered for a few practical items such as cleaning supplies, a Yamaha keyboard, a digital camera, and firearms -- of course.

Tell us, what do you think of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s wedding registry?

Hoping birth control is among items on list!

Why would that even matter to you, Nancy G? That is their business, not yours. Maybe you should find a hobby.

My husband put a 2 liter of mountain dew on ours.

They don't believe in birth control Nancy. Thats why her parents have so many kids. It is their belief. Don't judge them for it.

Its practical and down to earth. Things they know for sure they will be using.

It's fine but please use it for yourselves only not family

Why would they want birth control? They are going to have kids and they'd make great parents. Worry about all the children that are born to parents who abuse them and neglect them.

i went to a wedding once where the couple registered for different kinds of coffee and yes, gift cards to restaurants they loved.  they had other "normal" things on their list too, but alot of their closer friends (myself included) got them the gift cards.  i would rather get a gift card for a restaurant my husband and i like than something we are just going to put up in a cupboard and rarely use. i think it's pretty smart of them!
