Tori Spelling's former Beverly Hills 90210 castmates all seem to have been watching her docuseries about her troubled marriage, True Tori. It's hard to say whether they are "fans" -- but they're certainly getting a glimpse into their old pal's life. Shannen Doherty dropped her jaw to the floor when demonstrating how she looks when she was watching it. Now Ian Ziering has piped up with his opinion. Sounds like he's not fan.
Ziering told Access Hollywood:
It saddens me to see Tori going through all this pain [and] that there are kids involved. I have a tremendous amount of love for Tori and it's just sad. I'm sad. I don't know what to make of it. It's a train wreck, it's a train wreck!
Of course, Ziering starred in Sharknado with Tara Reid, so the man knows about train wrecks!
Ziering couldn't seem to get over Tori's show, which he admitted he'd only seen in clips, continuing to blabber on about it even past the point where he probably should have diplomatically closed his yap. He added:
I can’t explain it, because I don’t know the details. I’m just as a witness and a bystander, like we all are. It’s like, why is this even happening? Why is this happening on television? It just seems as there is nothing sacred. It’s a train wreck and you have to watch it! It makes great television ... but I question the motives. Why? Why are you doing this?
Hm, something tells me Ziering won't be invited to Liam McDermott's next birthday party.
Of course, Ziering is just asking what everyone else is asking: Why? Why? Why?
Still, Ian finally threw Tori a bone, saying she was a "smart girl" who "knows what she's doing."
Coming out and criticizing your former costar's new project so roundly probably means one of them will refuse to join the cast of Beverly Hills 90210 2014. If that ever happens. (Fingers crossed!)
Do you think Ian should have been more tactful?
