Why Bethenny Frankel Wins This Round in Her Crazy Divorce Battle (VIDEO)

bethenny Frankel

In today's exclusive episode, I break down this week's reporting over Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy's ongoing divorce drama. Why aren't the records sealed and why is this playing out in the media? Also, continuing to branch out into new shows you've told me to watch, I dove into MTV's Catfish, and what I found was surprising ...

I've wondered, prior to watching, why Catfish has so many viewers. Of course, I jumped in with "Tracie and Sammie" (season 3, episode 5), an episode outside their normal programming, but it was FASCINATING. A celebrity comes face-to-face with someone who was stalking her on the Internet. I couldn't look away, and in today's video, I break down what that's like, as well as deconstructing the show, its style of shooting, and what likely goes on behind the scenes.

Also today, every infotainment and gossip TV show and website has been reporting on the latest chapter in the Bethenny and Jason breakup. This week, they settled the custody part of their split, which can only be a good thing. In the video below, I talk about why the timing of this announcement is very strategic. Watch now! And if I haven't covered your favorite show or star yet, tell me in the comments ...

Hi Alex, Love all your juicy input-What do you think the custody agreement is?  The part about Bethenny wanting to be a single mother in 5 years is very interesting.  Why she didn't just go that route is too bad, now she's stuck dealing with her XHusband.  So he said he would "ruin" her, and not flush the toilet, that's it?  Jason could of brought up her dating the sexual preditor and more.  I love Bethenny, enjoyed her show, especially when she did her food demo's, I even like the D-list interviews.  Wonder what she will do now?  If you had to choose a favorite drink product from Bethenny's line, I like her Skinny Girl Margirita, or Teresa Guidice's Fabalini, which do you prefer?  Do you think Theresa and Joe will go to prison?  I seen the season preview from HWNJ and have to say, It looks pretty good!  Love the Guidice girls, would love to see you with your boy's again!

I love Bethenny and hopefully the whole thing will be done soon. I hope the judge tells Jason he spent his settlement in lawyer fees!

Hi Alex, love your vlogs! So much insight into the housewives shows (I watch all of 'em!) Are you and Bethenny still friends/friendly at all? You two and Ramona were always my favorites, I liked how you and Bethenny looked like you had real, honest conversations on the show. You two were the most real as opposed to phonies like Kelly and Luann.

I did like bethenny. Sorry, I lost respect for her when she went for sole custody. I don't see how she "won" this round. Nothing she said is all that different from every other divorce and does not warrant her trying to cut Jason out of brynn's life. She is repeating her mothers mistakes and will do the same damage to Brynn if there aren't sane people around to balance her crazy

I don't think that Bethenny won. She sounded pathetic as she trashed her daughter's father in open court. If you look at the Blogs, none of the commenters believed her. Frankly, the words she claimed that Jason said sounded exactly like something that Bethenny would say. I don't believe a word of it. She settled before Jason testified because she was getting ready to lose custody, not just being forced to share. In his opening statement, Jason's attorney claimed that Bethenny lied to the custody evaluator. I'm sure that they were going to prove it, and then proceed to show that you can't trust anything that that comes out of Bethennny's mouth except her self incriminating testimony that she told Jason that he would "never see his daughter". Not the kid of thing you want to hear from someone who wants to be the sole decision maker. The best thing for their daughter would be for Jason to have sole custody.
