Cressida Bonas Lands an Even Bigger Prize Than Prince Harry

Cressida Bonas

Damn. Whoever thought breaking up with the most eligible dude in the world could wind up to be such a positive thing? Um, this sort of came out of nowhere, but Cressida Bonas has been cast in Tulip Fever, a film that will also star Cara Delevingne, Daisy Lowe, Judi Dench, Matthew Morrison, and Zach Galifianakis. (Pretty posh crowd.)

Fittingly, Cressie's playing the role of the "society lady," which isn't exactly a far cry from her real life gig.

Huh. Bye, bye royals ... hello Hollywood?

This big career move could honestly prove to be even more exciting than being Prince Harry's girlfriend.

Although Cress venturing into the acting world does seem a bit odd, considering the reason she supposedly broke up with Harry was because she didn't want to live her life in the spotlight. If that's really the case, then she's kind of contradicting herself, to say the least. Wait a second ... maybe the allure of being on the big screen is what caused her to step back from Har in the first place? (Could be.)

But who can blame her for milking her relationship with Prince Harry for all it's worth? Hell, she'd be stupid not to capitalize on her name -- because getting into showbiz could totally change her life.

Amid reports that Harry is hoping to win Cressida back, however, this news definitely doesn't bode well for a reunion ever happening. Something tells me his dear old granny won't exactly be keen on the idea of him getting serious with an actress, particularly one who's all caught up in the Hollywood crowd.

More power to her for finding the silver lining in her highly publicized split. But let's just hope she's ready for both the perks and the downside of new found fame.

Do you think Cressida will make a good actress?
