Are you dying to know what delicacies guests will be savoring tonight at Kim and Kanye's Italian wedding? If you guessed "Italian food, duh," you're right -- but it won't be your grandma's spaghetti and meatballs. Kimye has hired one of the most revered chefs in the world to cater their event. Here's what guests can expect.
Giorgio Pinchiorri, who owns the Florence three-star Michelin restaurant Enoteco Pinchiorri, has the honor of creating what we're sure will be an exquisite banquet for the couple's family and friends. Rumor has it he has worked closely with Kanye to develop a menu -- and what doesn't Kanye have his hand in at this point? -- and that it will be "really special."
That's not really telling us much though, is it? We shouldn't be too surprised, since Kim and Kanye have managed to keep quite a bit about their wedding under wraps so far. But here's a look at some of the dishes served at the exclusive restaurant:
First, a shrimp and veggies dish that looks absolutely scrumptious:
...and what do you think of this artichoke entree? It's as pretty as a painting:
Other sample dishes at the eatery include young roasted duck and apple ravioli, mozzerella water and cucumber soda, lobster with an olive crust, pigeon with peas and mint leaves, and fennel and orange sherbet.
I have a feeling, especially if Kanye had anything to do with it, their wedding dinner will be a nice mix of traditional meats and fish with unexpected and cutting-edge twists. I'd bet the farm that the couple will not be serving anything as boring as the basil salad and roasted chicken that guests had to deal with at Kim's first wedding to Kris Humphries. Snoooze.
