Kim Kardashian took the absolute biggest chance a bride can possibly take. And no, it's not marrying the famously temperamental Kanye West, though that comes in a very close second. It's having an outdoor wedding in May. Everyone knows that May can be rainy! Unless you have it in Africa or Los Angeles, Kim's home. But Kim apparently didn't bother to check historical weather patterns when she planned her wedding festivities for Paris.
It's been raining pretty steadily since Kim and crew arrived this week for the festivities. And rain is forecast for this weekend. Check it out, Kim. Boo hoo.
Rumor has it that Kim, an LA girl through and through, is not enjoying the drizzly Paris weather. She apparently declared during a pre-wedding dinner, "I hope the rain doesn’t ruin my wedding."
Someone who saw her walking about the city says that she "made it clear that this bad weather is really getting to her. She’s clearly spending millions getting married in Europe, and if it all turns into a wash-out, she will be really unhappy."
I think this is the thing brides fear more than the groom not showing -- rain!! I know for myself I would never, in a gazillion years, count on having an outdoor wedding. Unless maybe I was in the desert. And even then, with my luck, it would be the first time in 1,000 years that the desert saw rain. Rain follows me, I tell you.
So I can only imagine how dispiriting it is to be Kim right now. I can almost feel sorry for her. Between the rain and the Beyonce/Rachel Roy drama, Kim's wedding could be a disaster waiting to happen.
On the other hand, the actual ceremony is supposed to be in Florence, Italy, and hey, cheer up, Kim, the forecast looks pretty good there!
Do you think Kim's wedding will get rained out?
