May 24 is going to be here before they know it, which is why it's kind of a buzz kill that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's prenup may delay their wedding. Apparently all of the details haven't been figured out yet.
According to TMZ, it's not even expected to be signed until sometime next week, probably Wednesday at the very earliest. And as I'm sure you've already guessed, there's no way in hell Kim and Kanye will say "I do" until that thing is iron-clad, you know -- because both of them probably know deep down in their guts that this marriage will eventually dissolve.
And honestly, the fact that they even want to sign a prenup in the first place is basically an admission that they know they probably won't be together forever.
Oh come on, do you really think they're only signing one as a formality "just in case" something ever happens and they opt to go their separate ways?
Not a chance. They're celebs, for crying out loud, which pretty much shortens the estimated duration of their marriage by about 50 percent or so. I'm not trying to be negative or anything, but it just isn't realistic to think that Kim and Kanye will wind up being the longest married couple in Hollywood, especially given her romantic history.
I know, I know -- it's kind of redundant to keep bringing up the whole "married to Kris Humphries for a mere 72 days" thing, but it's kinda hard to resist. (Let alone forget that particular marriage ever happened.) But for Kim and Kanye's sake, let's just hope the prenup details don't get held up any longer -- otherwise things could get pretty interesting on the 24th, to say the least.
It would be a real bummer if they have to call the whole thing off simply due to a technicality.
Would you ever sign a prenup?
