Amber Portwood has been through a lot in recent years, to say the least. Addiction, teen pregnancy, a broken engagement, and oh yeah, 17 months in prison for drug-related charges. The Teen Mom star has been doing great recently, and has totally cleaned up her act.
But that doesn't mean she still doesn't attract her fair share of the haters. Now it's one thing on the internets ... bullies online are practically expected these days, and we all get through it by imagining the commenters to be fat guys their mamas' basements with holey sweatpants and Cheeto-fingers.
On Tuesday, Amber had a disturbing real life encounter that was so uncomfortable she had to leave the premises.
It's kind of terrible when you have to leave Applebee's because one of the waiters are glaring at me with the dirtiest look...sad :/— Amber Portwood (@AmberLPortwood) May 20, 2014
The nerve of some people! What the? Maybe the waiter had only seen the first couple seasons of Teen Mom and thought Amber was still the wreck that she was back in the day. Or maybe one of her false eyelashes was falling off. Nevah!
Of course it could be that she was making up the whole scenario in her head. It's probably pretty easy to be a bit paranoid when you're a reality star who is kind of famous for being a hot mess. She responded on Twitter again that it wasn't just her who noticed it.
@dd_inwonderland it was really weird. .and the 2 people that were with me were the ones who noticed it first..made me feel awkward— Amber Portwood (@AmberLPortwood) May 21, 2014
@ItsJojoBarbosa I don't mind if people look at me...I love my supporters but people glaring and mean mugging really bothers me..I'm okay :)— Amber Portwood (@AmberLPortwood) May 21, 2014
That is awful! How uncomfortable that must have been. It's hard enough when you piss people off with your actions, but to have people be openly rude to you just because you exist? That can't feel good. People need to either mind their own business or at least keep their death-ray eyes to themselves. We all have a past -- just some people's are on re-runs for the world to see.
Do you think people have a right to be rude to reality stars since they choose to put it all out there?
