I was still holding out hope that Courteney Cox and David Arquette would get back together -- they seem to be making it work as parents and friends even through the divorce. But things seem to have taken a serious turn for Courteney and boyfriend Johnny McDaid.
And the Cougar Town actress is living up to her TV show character, too. McDaid (who is in the band Snow Patrol) is 12 years younger than she is. She's 49 and he's 37, and they are said to be talking about marriage and even more kids.
Courteney said of Johnny, "He supports me in every way. He supports me creatively. He really believed in the movie ... and not just because he likes me, though I know that helps."
Johnny wrote three songs for the film Just Before I Go that Cox directed -- her debut in film direction. I just love when couples work together. Johnny, who is Irish, wasn't shy about sharing his feelings for Court. "We get to kiss between takes. Courteney is the most completely confident person I've ever met -- at everything. She gets music. She gets art. She gets the way a scene gets constructed, the way dialogue works. And she puts it all together in her mind and then explains it to the world and makes movies that make people laugh and cry, squirm and jump, all those things."
Wow. The admiration these two have for each other is beautiful. A source has told US Weekly that these two are so "smitten with each other" and they are talking about getting married "sooner rather than later" and even discussing having a child. Courteney has a daughter, Coco who is 9, with Arquette.
Love this news! They sure make a great looking couple, too.
What do you think of Courteney and Johnny talking marriage and kids?
