Jon Hamm Slams Justin Bieber With Vicious Verbal Smackdown

jon hammIf you weren't a fan of Jon Hamm before, you should be now. The reason? Not because he stars in one of the best shows ever produced (that would be Mad Men) and not because he is crazy-hot (which he is). The actor recently lashed out at all the pompous, spoiled, arrogant, lazy jerks populating the A-list these days. He basically says everything that has been on our minds for months, if not years.

In the May issue of Men's Fitness, the actor slams Justin Bieber and every single young star who is in a similar downward spiral.

Look at Bieber or whoever. You’re like, ‘What the f**k, man? What are you doing? Why?’ There’s no one telling those people no, and it’s a shame.

He's right. These little punks seem so ungrateful for the wonderful lives they have. And Hamm's diss didn't end there. He makes it clear that these stars are not the only ones to blame for their bad behavior.

Is there a mom or a dad or a really good friend who can say, 'Hey, sh**head!' You see people in the world and you’re like, 'Do you know how a washing machine works? Do you know how to wash a dish?' Life skills are something we’re missing. There used to be a class that kids had to take in high school called home economics, which was cooking and sewing and just s**t you needed to learn in life.

Honestly, I couldn’t agree more. This is what happens when no one ever tells you “no” or the people around you are afraid to speak up because you are their meal ticket. It's really quite sickening. Many are so fed up with Bieber, they are calling for his deportation to his home country, Canada. However, there may be hope for this particular pop star. He recently promised that he was a changed person.

And then later this ...

Only time will tell. If Bieber does make changes for the better, perhaps other spiraling stars will follow his lead.

Do you think Jon Hamm was being too harsh?

I think Bieber is a major league jerk-off ,but Jon seems to have a problem with anyone not an actor or hasn't paid the same "dues" he did to get where they are should be taken down a peg or two. He went on an epic rant on the K-people last year. He doesn't get how they were famous. When you really get down to it actors are also people who just got lucky. They aren't curing cancer and doing life saving brain surgery. Jon, dial it back a bit.

I have to agree with Mr. Hamm, a lot of these young stars are now mostly famous for being famous and don't really contribute much of anything.  I can only imagine being with one of them would be a disaster.  I like watching shows like Mad Men because they are well acted, well written, and well produced works and the stars are rather unpretentious and not out of control drug addicts - just people honing their craft which is something I can appreciate.

Hell no, he's not too harsh! He hit that shit on point. I see Jon a compassionate man who understands the industry. The Entertainment business is just like any business. You have to know the rules and make sure your a part of it and not running around thinking it's one big freakin' party. Shit, even people with no talent are celebrities and it's because they or someone in their camp saw the business potential and they worked hard to build it up. While the ones with true talent are tearing down their house of cards. You gotta have thick skin and not waste your time getting bad reviews to stay current. Look at Lindsay Lohan, great actress but her reputation proceeds her and no one wants to take a chance with her. I've been involved and around the industry for many years and none of this crap is new. Look around and see how many truly talented young people are not here. You don't need to walk into a brick wall to get it. Listen to Jon Hamm and stop being foolish before all you're good for is for comedians material.
