I pretty much go back and forth on a daily basis with whether I believe she and Juan Pablo Galavis are a real couple or not -- but now that Nikki Ferrell's character is under attack for something related to her career? I actually feel pretty bad for her because nobody deserves to have people question their dedication to their job.
According to a report in Star magazine, Nikki was rude to a Bachelor fan at the hospital where she works as a pediatric nurse. The "source" says the fan's 17-month-old is suffering from a brain disorder, and she asked whether Nikki would mind coming in to say hello to her child.
This person claims that Nikki "rolled her eyes" and then left the hospital without speaking to the kid.
And apparently the mom felt "blown off" or whatever and thought Nikki was really rude, hence the report in Star.
I'm sorry, but I'm just not buying this story for one second. Regardless of whether or not she and Juan Pablo are involved in a showmance of sorts in an effort to keep their fame going, there's no denying the fact that Nikki is passionate about her job. Pediatric nursing isn't something just anyone can do. It's a career that not only takes dedication and hard work, but also requires a person to deal with very tragic and emotional situations -- so it's definitely not something you can fake being committed to.
More from The Stir: Nikki Ferrell Makes a Move So Shady Even Juan Pablo Will Be Shocked
Sure ... there's a chance that Nikki isn't as nuts about Juan Pabs as she's letting on. But does she really deserve people questioning whether her love for her job is genuine? Can you honestly picture her being rude to not only a fan -- but a fan who is the parent of a sick kid? (I think not.)
Slam her to pieces for whatever she does with Juan Pablo all you want. But let's at least give her the benefit of the doubt that she's in her chosen profession for a very good reason.
Do you believe Nikki would really blow off a patient at the hospital?
