Miley Cyrus has been tweeting the last few days that she hasn't been feeling very well, but things took a turn for the worse on Tuesday. The star went to see the doc about some antibiotics. Unfortunately, she had a severe allergic reaction and ended up in the hospital.
A press release from Kansas City's Sprint Center, where the 21-year-old had a stop scheduled on her Bangerz tour, said that she had been "placed on medical rest by her doctors" and that the show was cancelled.
This is the second time in eight days that Miley has cancelled a show last minute due to illness. Her extreme grief over the death of her beloved pooch Floyd probably hasn't been helping her feel at her best either.
The star tweeted to her fans about how broken up she was about having to cancel the show. She also posted a picture from her sick bed of herself and a toy octopus, with the caption, "Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me."
Kansas I promise Im as ð as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. ð¿ Not being with yall makes me feel shittier than I already do ð·— Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) April 15, 2014
Fans are obviously disappointed, with one woman saying, "We've got two upset kids over here ... my niece hasn't talked since she found out."
I really hope that by kids, she at least means (older) young adults, since the raunchy Bangerz tour isn't exactly reminiscent of her Hannah Montana days.
No word on whether the show will be rescheduled, but full refunds are expected.
How old do you think kids should be to go see Bangerz?
