Duggar Daughter Gets Engaged -- Let the Hand Holding Begin!

Who's ready for another Duggar wedding?

Jill Duggar, the second oldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, announced her engagement to Derick Dillard this morning. The duo have been courting (with some major parental supervision) on this season of TLC's 19 Kids & Counting and were originally introduced by Jill's dad.

The couple began dating while Derick was in Nepal for a mission trip and chatted via video conferencing before finally meeting in person. Derick, 25, popped the question last month during a casual afternoon stroll, where the couple was serenaded by a group of musicians.

Jill, 22, who is studying to be a midwife, and her accountant fiance were only able to engage in a 'side-hug' during the initial months of their relationship.

Since their engagement, the two have also reached another major highlight: they are now holding hands! They have, however, chosen to save their first kiss for their wedding day. Aww!

Jill's next big decision: Figuring out the size of her bridal party. With eight sisters, we're sure she'll have plenty of help figuring out her wedding details!

Are you excited to watch another Duggar wedding?

Most definitely! This family and their show is way better to watch than RHW or any of the other garbage programming that calls itself 'reality' tv. Traditional values are the best values. I feel sorry for the next generation that is being 'raised' my girls that can't even do basic house-hold responsibilities without tweeting that their parents are 'using them as free labor.' If you don't work you shouldn't eat, let alone have an Iphone or any of the other junk teens 'need' these days.

My 9 and 10 year old have chores - and if the chores aren't done there is no ipod, xbox, tv, movies, sleepovers - NOTHING until it's done and if they give attitude - it becomes longer - that's how my parents dealt with me

Congrats. Their values are a little too conservative for me personally, but i much rather watch them than some trashy rich kids of beverly hills or real houseviwes etc. Im happy the girls are starting to date, or court. Its so sweet. And im happy they are getting their own lives, instead of being an appendix to their mother and running her house and her kids

So happy for them! They RE such a good family with well rounded morals. It's sad that so many people bash them for it. Congrats!

I am so happy for them. I really hope they are not as awkward as josh and Anna were though! It was hard watching them hold hands cause it came off so awkward and weird!

That family is parented by a couple of crack pots. Wow

I'm happy that they're engaged, and although their values are far too conservative for my tastes, Michelle and Jim Bob are raising respectful, well rounded and polite children. Best of luck to them.  :)
