Amy Purdy

Um ... wow. Just -- WOW. On every season of Dancing With the Stars, things always get a little bit emotional when the week rolls around when cast members dedicate a dance to the most important year in their life.

But tonight? Who else is still crying after the performances, which were so honest, raw, and real, I honestly wish I'd taken off my mascara before tuning in?? (And I'm not even a "crier.")

After seeing Danica McKellar clutching her beautiful little boy after her performance with Val Chmerkovskiy, I had already lost it a little bit. But then Meryl Davis came out and achieved the impossible -- meaning she made the judges fall in love with Maks all over again, and the emotion was kicked up another notch.

And then Amy Purdy and Derek Hough danced and OMG I haven't been able to regain my composure ever since.

Don't get me wrong. All the dancers are inspirational in one way or another. But Amy? Watching her each week reminds us that the words "I can't" really don't belong in our vocabulary. She's unbelievable. And to say DWTS hit the jackpot in casting her this season is the understatement of the year. As cheesy as it may sound, I watch her and I truly believe anything is possible.

In case you missed her contemporary dance -- it's something you just HAVE to see. Here's the clip.

I guess that brings us to who went home this week. I have to say, it was very honorable of Billy Dee Williams to go ahead and eliminate himself at the beginning of the night so that all of the other contestants are guaranteed at least one more week to show us what they can do.

But who else is a little nervous about the partner switch-up that will happen next week? Something tells me the change is bound to rattle more than a few cages.

Who was your favorite dancer tonight?
