Everybody Suing Justin Bieber Wants to Talk to Selena Gomez

Selena GomezOn Thursday, Selena Gomez was out seemingly minding her own business grabbing a soda at a convenience store when a very official-looking woman in a black suit and pink scarf followed her and handed her some very official-looking documents.

Rumor has it that the papers were a subpoena for Selena to testify against her on-again-off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber in one of his paparazzi-pulverizing lawsuits. Because if you're going to be involved, you might as well be involved in his legal mess too, right?

TMZ reported that Selena was summoned for a "deposition in a lawsuit filed by an L.A. pap who claims Bieber karate kicked him in the stomach in 2012."

The photog is claiming that Selena was with Biebs when it happened and wants her under oath to recount what happened.

There's also a rumor swirling around that this isn't the only time Selena will be called upon to testify as a witness. Sources are claiming that she will also be asked to testify in the Miami case involving another photographer and one of Bieber's bodyguards.

Jeffrey Binion claims that he was assaulted by someone on Justin's team, and he's suing for damages and of course emotional distress. His lawyer has confirmed there are plans to serve Selena too, even though she wasn't even there!

This probably means she'll be called upon as a character witness, which just seems bizarre, given the nature of their relationship. If they're on-again, she's likely not going to say anything helpful, and if they're off-again ... well, would you want your ex testifying as a character witness against you in court?

Do you think Selena Gomez is a reliable character witness for Justin Bieber?
