Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin's September nuptials were featured on last night's Teen Mom 2 episode, and thus, fans are still drying their eyes from the onslaught of the tear-jerking, heartwarming moments the couple's Big Day made for. But it seems like Kail herself may have been emotional for another reason ...
While tuning in last night, she took to Twitter to react to the way her wedding was featured on the episode.
I'm barely in this episode. They better show my reception #TeenMom2— Kail Lowry-Marroquin (@KailLowry) March 26, 2014
Ack, sounds like she was pretty disappointed with the way things went down (or more like got cut down) in the editing room. While the couple's first dance was included, MTV chose to show only part of the reception during the end-of-episode montage. Upon realizing that more of the party hadn't made the final cut, Kailyn elaborated:
The reception was the most fun so there's that. Wish they showed it.— Kail Lowry-Marroquin (@KailLowry) March 26, 2014
Yeah, it's kind of a bummer, but when was the last time you saw more than highlights from a reality TV show wedding reception? It's pretty rare that any series takes the audience through it, because it's usually the longest part -- especially if it's the most fun! So maybe Kailyn should take it as a compliment that MTV left more of it on the cutting room floor. And take heart in the fact that those who were nearest and dearest got to experience it in person instead of via TV!
What do you think about Kailyn's reaction to how her wedding footage was edited? Do you agree there should've been more of her reception shown?
