Rumors about Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas being super close to an engagement have been swirling for weeks now. If you haven't wanted to believe them (because you're hoping you still have a chance with Har), you're in for a bit of a disappointment.
Cressida is "co-hosting" a formal dinner at St. James Palace, which basically makes her a shoo-in as far as becoming the next Kate Middleton goes.
Ok, ok -- so she's not giving a speech or anything like that. But apparently her being Prince Harry's date for the evening earns her the title of "co-host." And it's not like this is some casual get-together at his Kensington Palace digs. Nope. It's a legit formal dinner at a palace, people -- so this is as serious as serious gets.
The dinner will honor war heroes, as is only fitting since Harry is the patron of the Walking With the Wounded charity.
But let's get back to Cress being on his arm that night. Who else thinks an engagement and wedding are imminent now that Harry's not being the least bit shy about having her with him at royal events? I mean, he's practically stamping the word "princess" on her forehead by doing so.
Why in the heck would he get her all caught up in royal biz if he didn't anticipate her being a permanent part of the fam? And amid reports that Cressida is in "princess bootcamp" right now, I'd say it's only a matter of time before the Palace makes an official announcement with the happy news.
(Squee! I can't wait.)
How long do you think it will be before Prince Harry proposes to Cressida?
