In most ways, Cristina Scuccia is very much like any other typical contestant who appears on The Voice. She's 25, has a tremendous voice that managed to wow judges, and knows her pop music. Here's the catch: Cristina is also a nun. That's right, folks, a religious sister absolutely killed it on Italy's version of the popular show when she sang an amazing rendition of Alicia Keys' No One. Judges competed to work with her and her sisters went bonkers cheering her on backstage in a video you have to see to believe.
Dressed in a traditional black habit with a large silver cross dangling from her neck, Cristina proved she has the chops to make it big in the recording industry from the first second she opened her mouth. It didn't take long before every single judge turned around and sat, mouths gaping, at the most talented nun -- um, only nun -- to ever grace their stage.
One of the judges, a rough-looking Italian rapper, cutely joked with her that if he found her at Mass he'd always be in church. "You and me are like the devil and holy water." Cristina added her own bit or adorableness by commenting that she hopes Pope Francis will call her now that she has appeared on The Voice.
Uh, yes please. And if the two could perform a duet, even better -- people would line up to convert to Catholicism.

Are you surprised this nun had such a passionate pop music performance in her?
