Well, it looks like a little bit of the suspense surrounding Prince George's new nanny has finally gone away, as a rep for the Palace has just released her name.
Kate Middleton and Prince William hired Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo to care for their royal little cherub, and the two of them are said to be "delighted she has chosen to join them."
Of course, now that we know this woman's name, we're dying to hear any more details on her background, how the Duke and Duchess selected her over other candidates, etc.
(I mean, seriously -- you gotta be pretty amazeballs to land this gig.)
Alas, the rep said, "We will not be giving further details on Maria or her employment, except to say that the Duke and Duchess are of course delighted she has chosen to join them."
And they want her privacy and the privacy of her family and friends respected and all that jazz too. (Go figure.)
The rep did tell Us Weekly that Maria will be heading Down Under with the fam to care for Georgie-Porgie during the Royal Tour, and divulged that she was trained at London's Norland College, a school that specializes in all things nanny.
But other than that? It sounds like the royals have no intention of spilling the beans on any other juicy details about Maria. (Bummer.)
Maybe we'll get lucky and at least see a pic or two of her while she's in New Zealand and Australia though. (One can hope.)
Do you think it sounds like Kate and Prince William made a good choice?
