After watching the finale of The Bachelor and then the "After the Final Rose" show immediately following -- exactly everyone who tuned in is pretty darn confused.
Sure, Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell came out and sat on that couch all snug and cozy like they're in love for reals -- but neither one of them really gave a clear indication of where their relationship stands. All we know is that Nikki loves Juan P. and he "likes her a lot" -- but I don't think it's too bold to say that no one expects them to last for the long haul.
But they're sure doing everything in their power to act like the picture of a happy couple.
Juan Pablo posted a selfie taken with Nikki to Instagram, which pretty much tells us all we need to know.
Aww. Aren't they all sorts of adorbs? (Kidding.)
Juan captioned the shot with, "We are FREE @nikki_ferrell ..." with a little smiley face with hearts in its eyes. (Nice touch.)
Oh, and if the pic isn't enough -- Juan Pablo shared a video in honor of Nikki, insisting that they're the real deal.
Ugh. Why are these two even bothering with trying to make us think they're in love and intend on getting engaged at some point in the future? Oh, that's right ... I almost forgot. They may be a lot of things, but stupid is not one of them. And with all of the negative attention Juan Pablo is receiving these days, they know they have a better chance of staying in the spotlight if they keep up this little charade.

If they break up now, everyone will roll their eyes and say, "I told you so!" -- and then nobody will care about them anymore and their 15 minutes of fame will officially be up. And based on just how popular Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici still are (hell, they even got paid to get married) -- something tells me Juan Pablo and Nikki want to get as much out of their reality TV couple status as they possibly can before going their separate ways.
But duh -- they're SO going to split. It's not a matter of if, but a matter of when. If I had to guess? I'd say it'll be over for good in about two months. Tops.
Do you think there is any chance that Juan Pablo and Nikki are truly happy together?
