Leah Messer’s Special Needs Daughter Ali Hits a Major Milestone on 'Teen Mom 2'

It seems like just yesterday Leah Messer and Corey Simms were playing with their twin baby daughters Aliannah and Aleeah (actually it was just yesterday for me -- I’ve been watching reruns on Hulu), but now little Ali is a bonafide big kid attending school for the very first time.

Earlier this season on Teen Mom 2, we learned that one of Leah and Corey’s twins has a rare form of muscular dystrophy, and will “need a little extra help along the way.” Doctors recommended that they enroll her in school early to help her get a jumpstart on her education.

In Tuesday night’s episode, Ali attends school for the first time, and apparently has a really great time! In a sneak peak, we saw Leah and her current husband Jeremy Calvert arrive at the school to see how Ali did and to meet with Corey, who has the girls for the weekend.

All the parents praised Aliannah for being such a good girl at school and told her how proud they were of her. It seems that any worries Leah and Corey may have had about enrolling the adorable tyke early were unfounded.

Ali did great, according to her teachers, even if she did get a little tired. But what kid wouldn’t get a little worn out on a very fun first day of school?

Do you think it was a good idea to enroll Ali in school early?
