'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Finale Recap: Are Brandi & Lisa Really Done Forever?

Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump fight It took Brandi Glanville over two years to do it, but tonight on the season finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she effectively ended her friendship with Lisa Vanderpump once and for all. Or at least until the muchly-hyped reunion airs next week. On one hand, it was sad to see what they had peter out with such a whimper rather than a bang. On the other, it was a well overdue parting.

Sure, Ken Todd and Lisa did, as Brandi said, 'adopt' her. But that was during a particularly dark time in her life. Relationships change. We need to change with them. Brandi has grown and healed from the wounds caused by her divorce. Whatever else was going on, Lisa treating her like an injured dove wasn't just unnecessary -- it was also detrimental to Brandi's growth as a person. Oh my god. I am taking this so seriously. This is probably why no one invites me to parties. It's my gravitas. Also my IBS.

Everything came to a boil when Brandi pulled Lisa aside at a party to celebrate Beverly Hills existing. That is not me being glib and cute. That was the actual reason for the party all the wives were attending.

I'm maybe overstating things when I say that it all came to a boil. In keeping with baking metaphors, everything came to gentle peaks rather than stiff ones (giggity). It was Lisa and Ken versus everyone else, and the conversation-confrontations were much the same as they'd all previously had in Puerto Rico.

The exception to this was Brandi and Lisa's pow-wow. I was kind of cheering for Brandi. She was eloquent and had obviously given her comments a lot of thought going in. I felt like she hit all her points: She was done being Lisa's pawn, though she was grateful for the things she'd done for her in the past. Lisa blinked at this and really just sort of refused to engage.

Brandi just wanted Lisa to pick her over Scheana Marie. Lisa wouldn't do it. I don't agree with the ultimatum, but I get where Brandi's coming from. Hell, I guess I should just say that I'm staunchly team Glanville on this.

At a minimum, if you know that you are friends both with a mistress and the woman whose husband she was sleeping with, keep them apart. It was wrong of Lisa to keep forcing Scheana down Brandi's throat. I don't feel like this subject is closed. I guarantee a rehashing at the reunion

Who do you think was right, Brandi or Lisa?

Yolanda and Brandi seem to be making up a fictitious issue for the sake of drama. This is the stupidest fight ever. Yolanda's the shit stirrer, not Lisa.

Either its 'stupid' Brandi writing this blog or you Rebecca are watching a different show!!!

I side with Brandi. I see right through Lisa. Especially after that whole necklace scene at Yolanda's. Lisa said something and then tried to deny it ten minutes later. I wish that scene with the magazines was on camera so Lisa wouldn't be able to lie about it.

Brandi is right. If Ken cheated on Lisa, and Brandi kept bringing the woman he cheated with around, I'm sure Lisa would take umbrage with that.

I think you are confused. Why should Lisa let Brandi tell her who can and can't be in her life?  Brandi, YoYo, Kim and Kyle are just jealous of Lisa. That was reason enough for the attack.  The are secret smileys nice to your face and then stab you in the back. Really pathetic.

Finally someone who see Lisa for what she really is. Lisa is manipulative and uses people as pawns. Remember at the start of Vanderpump Rules Lisa was the one who brought Scheana over from Villa Blanca to work at Sur. Scheana and Pandora are very good friends, Lisa acts like she doesn't know Scheana from Adams. Lisa loves to meddle in people's business and she doesn't have girlfriend s because she acts too superior. Not saying I hate Lisa but it's time for people to see her as she truly is.

Had no problem being Lisa's friend last year and even let Schenna apologize to her. The affair happened seven years ago. Eddie married Leann and as Brandi put it, Eddie cheated on her multiple times. Brandi should not blame one young women, Schenna, who has more then suffered over it and apologized. Brandi in seven years has gone on and slept with mutliple people and used Lisa to get popular. She is not all innocent, if she had a problem with it, she should have never been Lisa's friend to begin with. She turned on Adrienne Malouf, who she used to get on the show. I understand if she was some "snow white" but Brandi has done some hateful things all season and has thrown her own father under the bus. She all of a sudden has made this Schenna minor affair that did not last, a big issue becasue she is jealous of Lisa being friends with Kyle and latched on to, another rich woman, Yolanda, who had her own issues with Lisa.  So you can see where it is hard to have sympathey for a woman who has been given so much and turns everything into a negative this season. She has ruined the show and you want to portray her as some poor victim. Have you really watched the show or are you Brandi's friend cause it looks like it.

I was under the impression this was a finale recap, not a biased ranting based on a single event of the episode.

I'm neither team Lisa nor team Brandi, but I do think that Yolanda was certainly just cooking up some trouble for shit-stirring sake. The way they handle their issues, I've seen high school girls act more maturely.

And by the way, I'm almost certain that "muchly-hyped" is not a word; it's much-hyped.

The thing is Brandi knew Scheana worked for Lisa before becoming friends with her. I am sure she probably knew early on that Scheana was also Pandora's friend. If Brandi didn't like it she could have said to Lisa "you know I think I am better off not being close to you" she didn't have to try and take Lisa down because of it! Brandi was happy to go to SUR, even when not filming. I think Brandi didn't mind Scheana so much when she was just a waitress but now that she is becoming a TV star herself that is the real problem for Brandi. Before everyone disliked Scheana because she had an affair with a married man. Now people realize she was just a young girl who made a mistake and believed him when he said he was separated. That kills Brandi. And Yolanda has stirred it up. If anyone is Brandi's puppet master it is Yolanda.

Brandi is a very needy, insecure, immature woman. She wants the world to revolve around her & if it doesn't she snaps. She is extremely jealous of anyone having friends other than her, in her mind she has to be number one. I can definitely see why Eddie fell out of love with her. She needs to get over that but she can't because....everyone should love & worship her- in her tiny twisted mind. I can't stand her, she's a trouble making big baby. The show would be better with out her.
