Kate Middleton & Prince William Go on a Sexy Getaway Ahead of Royal Tour

kate middleton prince william deplaningWe thought that the next time we'd see Kate Middleton and Prince William out of the U.K., they'd be headed Down Under for their highly anticipated royal tour! Not so, it seems. Apparently, they've jetted out of the cold today to enjoy a week-long relaxing getaway in Maldives!

According to local media, the couple arrived on a British Airways plane this morning and were whisked away by security officials to the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport VIP Lounge. They're reportedly staying at a recently opened private resort on the island, and it's unknown whether or not they're with 8-month-old Prince George. In other words, especially considering that Maldives was on the couple's short list for honeymoon destinations before settling on Seychelles, this could very well be a romantic time-out for the royal couple. Ooh la la!

Either way, the timing for this trip seems to have been set for a while, as neither Wills or Kate has an official engagement next week. William does need to get back to his agricultural classes at Cambridge upon their return, but he supposedly has no lectures this week.

The Mirror points out that this isn't the first time the couple has gone on a vacation before a "work"-related trip. Remember when Kate was scandalously photographed sunbathing topless? That was when the couple was holidaying in a villa in the south of France ... prior to heading out on their tour of the Far East.

Given their upcoming jam-packed schedule, I can definitely understand why the couple would want to take a peaceful, tropical time-out now. Fingers crossed that even if they do have George with them, they also have the nanny and are able to nab some quality alone time. Because I can't think of a better way to rest and re-energize before spending a grueling three weeks Down Under!

Do you think the royal couple deserves to rest up for their big trip?

I'm stunned by this lazy couple. William hasn't done much since quitting his job and the studies at University seem to have disappeared. Waity Kate has done two or three appearances at most so far this year and it's March already. They just cost the tax payers millions in home renovations {on two houses}, now Duchess Do-Little wants a re-do on one of the homes already.....she did nothing all January then vacationed on Mustique.  Did a few "appearances", {two I think} after returning  and now they've left their 7 month old baby and left the country too.  I would have never left either of my children when they were babies. Literally can't imgaine doing that. I'll bet the surrogate rumors are true !If Do-Little ever does spend time with George, he must be wondering where mommy {and and daddy} are. Pathetic !

Do-Little reminds me of Marie Antoinette {except Marie cared about her children},  and Willy is a good rep for the last French king. Their stupidity and self-absorbed self-indulgence and lack of work ethic is jaw dropping.  I guess the only reason George will be on their trip to Austrailia is for brownie points, in a country where they want brownie points.

I think it is essential that this young couple have time to breath. They are so busy and do so much for their projects and charities as well as fulfiling their Royal duties. To have time to discuss their views and plans for their tour of Australia and new Zealand will really help them focus what it is that they decide rather than just being organised with little say in it.

As with all parents I would advocate time out from time to time to be refreshed and energetic parents when spending quality time with their baby. It is obvious that their life is dedicated to Prince George as well as balancing the demands made of them by the Palace. They do both so well and so happily it is a pleasure to see
