Khloe Kardashian Has to Go to Extremes to Protect Herself From Betrayal

Maressa Brown That's Criminal

keeping up with the kardashians khloeIn the wake of an upsetting robbery of the Tarzana, California home Khloe Kardashian shared with estranged husband Lamar Odom, Khloe's going to great lengths to figure out whodunit. As we heard yesterday from TMZ, about $250K worth of jewelry (mainly watches and gold chains) was stolen from the residence. Because there was no sign of forced entry into the house, detectives suspect tradesmen who were doing work on the home over the last month. And if Khloe has anything to say about it, the investigation is going to be seriously intense.

Apparently, she has ordered lie detector tests and fingerprints to be taken from all potential thieves -- aka anyone who had access to the house (house staff, assistants, filming crews, inspectors, and movers).

Making it clear that she will not be messed with, Khloe took to Twitter yesterday ...

Gotta say I'm behind her 100 percent. Although theft of $250K in jewels is no joke, it's not even about that alone. To think that someone you hired or allowed into your fold double-crossed you in this way is definitely disconcerting.

Sure, it may seem extreme to start with lie detector tests and fingerprinting, but given that failing to get to the bottom of this raises the risk of an even bigger betrayal down the road, the woman's gotta do what she's gotta do. And I'd venture to guess anyone in Khloe's position right now would be doing the very same!

What do you think about Khloe going to such great lengths to catch this thief?
