With Kailyn Lowry's book Pride Over Pity set for release on April 22, details about the Teen Mom 2 star's revealing and, at times, troubling memoir are already emerging. The new press release shares that the book will cover Kailyn's stay in a homeless shelter, her sexuality, and "traumatic sexual experiences that have left her deeply scarred." Ugh.
Now, we've gotten our first glimpse of the book cover, and although what Kailyn reveals inside sounds absolutely gut-wrenching, she couldn't look more stunning in the cover photo.

Ha, love how she's flaunting her full-sleeve of tattoos -- of course! It has been an ongoing, very personal work in progress she sees as an important form of self-expression, so it's only fitting that it made the book cover.
Also, it's hard to ignore the fact that it looks a lot more profesh than, say, Farrah Abraham's book jacket, which unapologetically featured her daughter Sophia. I'd say Kail deserves props for leaving Isaac and Lincoln out of the mix here. Especially given that the book focuses on difficult subject matter/her life before her sweet boys were in the picture.
All in all, this memoir seems to be setting up to be a major breakout moment for the Teen Mom. And there's no doubt in our minds, she deserves it!
