Kim Kardashian may have just won a Razzie for Worst Supporting Actress, but did we really think that would stop her from taking another film role? Pffft! Of course not. Rumors about her next possible movie gig are already swirling, and if they're true, it's going to be major.
Her fiance Kanye West reportedly hit up Bret East Ellis (who penned American Psycho) to help him write a film based on his Yeezus album, which a source describes as "pretty much a narrative of Kanye's life." Thus, Kiki will HAVE to be cast!
A source confirms to Hollywood Life, "Kim is definitely going to be in it. The screenplay already features her character.” And it sounds like her part is going to be more substantial than not!
The insider elaborates:
They’re still working on the script, so it’s unclear at this point if Kim will be a major star of the movie or making a smaller cameo. But her role in the movie will be pivotal. Her role is going to be very dramatic. Far from the bubbly, happy persona that she’s always played.
Oh yeeze! Sounds like we may be in store for another dose of "Bound 2" or Tyler Perry's Temptation ... AKA a totally over-the-top, egomanical disaster. Then again, Hype Williams is directing, so maybe it won't be a complete trainwreck. But considering both Kim and Kanye's cinematic track records, let's not hold our breath!
What do you think -- will Kim bring amazing acting chops to this new project?
