Man. Those royals sure know how to have a good time when they're off the clock. And even though their lives have been turned upside down by little Prince George, Kate Middleton and Prince William indulged in a date night over the weekend, wait for it -- at a bar!
And "Bunga Bunga" isn't some upscale joint where the high and mighty go to sip brandy after dinner (or whatever the hell sophisticated, rich Brits drink.)
Nope. It's a pizzeria and karaoke bar, people. And Kate and Wills were there to have a night out on the town with friends, including Prince George's godmother, Emilia Jardine-Paterson d'Erlange and her hubby.
Of course, they did show up with six police protection dudes in tow -- but still. Um, Kate Middleton and Prince William partied it up at a bar like ... normal people!
Can you imagine being there that night, getting your karaoke on -- when all of a sudden you see the royal couple sitting there in the crowd knocking back a couple beers? (If they were drinking, that is.)
I'm loving the idea of the two of them hanging out with friends and being all social and fun as opposed to formal and ... royal. It's like they get back a bit of their old, carefree days as a couple before kids when they do stuff like this -- which is important no matter how famous or well known parents are, for that matter.
But let's just hope they didn't get too carried away. As we all know, babies and hangovers aren't exactly a winning combination.
How often do you get out for date nights?
