Jamie Dornan Says '50 Shades' Changed Him Physically Forever (VIDEO)

Jamie DornanWe've heard actors say that their work has changed them in various ways, but never quite like Jamie Dornan says Fifty Shades of Grey changed him. It's an intense film, so it would be hard to come out of playing the lead character completely unchanged, but we never would have expected this.

He talked of the physical transformation when he recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show. As the audience braced for something steamy, Norton assured them, "It isn't as creepy as it sounds." Then Jamie made the big reveal.

So basically, I've always had a complex with the way I walk. I've not always been told I've got a bad walk, but someone's always commented on my walk. It's always been a bit like, 'alright. That's how you walk?

Then he proceeded to hilariously demonstrate his old walk that was "quite bouncy" and one that his wife helped him try. It wasn't until a dance teacher working with him on 50 Shades stepped in that his stride was saved. They were working on a scene in which Christian Grey dances with Anastasia Steele and the teacher told him it was just like walking, which he found humorous.

And I'm 31-years-old, literally the first thing you learn in life is to walk. And I was like, ‘that's funny. I'm not great at walking.'

So with some simple instruction to walk heel-to-toe, his life was forever changed.

No one ever told me that! I was always toe-to-more-toe! Now I just apply that every day, when I'm walking around.

The whole confession is so hilarious, endearing, and sexy, it makes waiting for the movie even more difficult thinking about watching him walk on that big screen.

What do you think of Jamie's physical transformation?

Not even going to watch any of the movies. They killed the whole thing by not placing better actors in the roles.

Awwww, how cute is he!!! He's so adorably goofy in this interview it's hard to imagine him being dark and sexy in the movie.

He's hot, everyone needs to give the guy a chance. A good actor can play any role... It's not all about looks, although I think he's got plenty!

Erika Landes

He is just absolutely Charming!! Love his accent (Rachel would too) I'm actually looking forward to how he's gonna portray a "dark-imposing....machine" when he's this charming goofball!

I think he'll be great, and people will be surprised how sexy and dark he is as Christian grey. He is a great actor and plays his part well in the fall. I am looking forward to seeing the movie and don't think I'll be disappointed!

No thanks. He is a good actor but I've given him a chance I've seen his other roles but he is not the whole Christian Grey package so it's a big NO for me and I don't even find him attractive and he's too puny. Physically is it NOT there. None of it. He lacks so much, just like Dakota Johnson but not as bad. She is HORRIBLE. But then again she was only cast because of who she is and who she knows and they couldn't get any of their original choices. There are a lot of charming and funny guys out there, but that doesn't mean they're all Christian Grey. This film was so horribly cast in sticking to the books and aren't wasting my time and money on something that will taint the books for me and insult them.
