We all know Kate Middleton is a trendsetter, but since walking the runway in a see-through slip dress for a charity fashion show, she hasn't really taken all that many fashion risks or been known for embracing anything you might deem "alternative." That's okay! We still adore her silky, long brunette mane, classic A-line dresses, and simply elegant accessories.
But what IF, in a "parallel universe" perhaps, she was a punk princess? With full-sleeve tattoos and bright purple tresses? And Prince William was similarly inked-up in black-rimmed, hipster specs? Can you even imagine?! Well, you don't have to, because Seattle-based artist Cheyenne Randall has actually created that wacky image of the Duke and Duchess for a new art project. And it is as wild as it sounds.
Check it out ...
WOW, right?! Ha, they actually look like people I know who are extremely good-looking, tattoo-loving parents.
Randall explains he created this image -- and others -- due to a "slight obsession with seeing, out of pure curiosity, what some of my favorite iconic personalities would look like, perhaps if they were in a parallel universe or took another path in life."
And whether you love or hate his imagined, "alternate" reality, you've gotta admit it is sure to get people talking!
What do you think of tattooed Kate?!
