Brandi Glanville is claiming that her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, is asking for child support. Their two sons, Mason and Jake, split their time between Brandi and Eddie and his new wife, LeAnn Rimes. But there's little doubt that Brandi has been out-earning Cibrian the past few years, with her successful run on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her two bestselling books. So, according to Brandi anyway, Eddie's decided to dip into Brandi's wallet to help pay for his kids.
Brandi wrote on Twitter:
Im not taking cheap shots at my ex in my new book cuz its all true,&now mr fancy new cars&house man is asking ME for child support!Uknownada— Brandi Glanville (@BrandiGlanville) February 18, 2014
Eddie, however, is denying it, with his rep telling US Weekly:
There is no truth to the claims that Eddie has requested child support from Brandi now, nor will he ever request child support from his ex-wife.
Wow, how could there be a miscommunication about that?! How does one say child support and the other say no child support? Huh?! This isn't, like, he says he had tuna for lunch, she says he had steak. If this is the way these two communicated during their marriage, no wonder it didn't last -- though I'm sure the cheating didn't help.
Speaking of which, Brandi told a Los Angeles DJ that she's purr-et-tay damn sure Eddie is going to cheat on LeAnn. She said:
I hope that I’m wrong, but I do feel that "Once a cheater, always a cheater." I feel like once you cross that line, it's easier to do another time ... but I hope not.
Oh, reaaaallly? Why do I get the feeling she hopes? Can't blame her, really.
Well, whether or not Eddie is asking for child support, the reality is he would have the legal right to -- cheater or not. It's kind of unfortunate, but it doesn't matter who is the worse spouse in the court's eyes -- only who makes the most money. I have one friend who had to hand over half her retirement fund to her husband of 25 years -- never mind that he was cheating on her with men for most of that.
Do you think Eddie should get child support?
