Judging from the latest incarnation of her image, you'd guess Miley Cyrus is wild and carefree in all matters -- especially sex and love. But that's apparently not so, according to an interview she recently had with Ronan Farrow that appears in W's March issue. Turns out, the former Disney star says she has a hard time trusting men and even talked about an eyebrow-raising relationship dealbreaker that has seemingly been causing her trouble in love.
Guys watch too much porn. Those girls don't exist. They're not real girls. And that's like us watching romance movies. That's girl porn, because, like, those guys do not exist.
Sounds like the pop star may have recently seen Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johnasson's flick on that very same topic, Don Jon. It's a valid point she makes, which is most definitely causing both men and women to have unrealistic expectations about one another. Sounds like that pitfall has wreaked some havoc on her love life. (Is it possible that played into her split from Liam?! ... Naaaah.)
More from The Stir: Miley Cyrus' Nude Photos Aren't the Most Shocking Part of Her Latest Interview
Miley continued, elaborating on the issues she has with potential suitors:
[Guys] just try too hard with me, and it's just like, 'I don't need you to impress me. I don't want you to, like, take me to fancy restaurants.' I hate sitting down for dinner! You don't have to do that to me! You don't have to take me on trips! I literally just want to chill here!
So, in other words, she wants a guy who likes her for who she is and is comfortable with who he is, and isn't thinking that either of them has to live up to some crazy, X-rated standard in bed. Imagine that! Something we all deserve.
Crazy. For once, I actually feel compelled to give the twerking queen a pat on the back. Thankfully, she has no problem expressing her needs or wants, so it shouldn't be a problem for her to steer clear of the jerks and find herself Mr. Right ... if and whenever that may be.
Have you ever gone out with someone who had unrealistic expectations?
