Jimmy Fallon continues to prove again and again that he's f'in brilliant. Tugging at the heartstrings of anyone who grew up with Full House (and let's hope for humanity's sake that was the majority of you), he brought back together Bob Saget (Danny), John Stamos (Jesse), and David Coulier (Joey) in one hilarious throwback to the late '80s/early '90s. You know, when all life's problems could be solved in a half hour as long as some violins and a forlorn piano were playing in the background.
Looking a little older, perhaps a little pudgier, the Full House guys fell into their old, famous roles as if almost 20 years hadn't gone by (wow 20 years OMG ...).
As Jimmy tries to adjust to leaving Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, we get everything from a "wake up San Francisco!" to "the hair!" to Mr. Woodchuck to the teddy bear song. And the pretty much exact replica of Michelle Tanner's old room is worth the watch in and of itself.
Here it is!
Best five minutes of your day, huh? The video is both oddly cringe-worthy and hilarious all at the same time. Like most things, I suppose, when you think back to your time in the early '90s ... Maybe it's because these guys are comforting a 39-year-old man in a pencil bed, but still. There's nothing like a good dose of nostalgia to really feel all the feels that come from watching this clip.
Clearly the trio is giving what the audience is craving, as they're also going to star in an upcoming Super Bowl commercial this Sunday. The guys reunited once more on Good Morning America as well to promote their ... whatever this is they're doing. It allowed us to get this random shot of Rihanna, of all people, photobombing them. Mind = blown. So this is what the Internet was made for. Huh. What will we see from them next?
Funny video or do these guys need to go back to the early '90s where they belong?
