Because this is America and America is awesome, more than 100,000 people have signed a petition asking President Obama to deport Justin Bieber back to his native Canada. I think Canadians would be too polite to protest, but I’m not supposed to stereotype, so never mind.
Anyway, it seems to be of no matter anyway, as an expert has told PEOPLE magazine that a deportation is “highly unlikely,” despite being charged last week with a DUI, resisting arrest, and driving with an expired license. What does this kid have to do to get deported?

According to Miami immigration lawyer Alex Solomiany, the Biebs hasn’t been quite reckless enough to warrant booting him out of the U.S. of A.
"Since Bieber did nothing serious to hurt another person, it is highly unlikely that he would be removed from the U.S. for the criminal charges he has pending in the Miami case," Solomiany said. "This DUI does not involve harming someone else, so he is not deportable."
The kid got a DUI! Just because no one got hurt (praise God) doesn’t mean that he wasn’t endangering people. I say adios him out of here. Solomiany pointed out the nature of his visa, and noted, "Bieber is a guest of the U.S. because of his position in the arts. When it is time to renew, he will still be a guest, and the counselor/officer could have issues with his past behavior."
Gee, what past behavior could that be? How about vandalizing his neighbor’s house? Or what about the drug raid in his home? What about for just being an egotistical douche? Can we deport him for that?
Of course, Canada might not want him back after all. On Wednesday afternoon, he was charged with criminal assault, for allegedly roughing up a limo driver in Toronto last December.
Maybe he's on a mission to make people in all the countries unhappy with him. Australia doesn't like him either.
Do you think the Biebs should be deported?
