At this point, I thought I knew everything there was to know about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's romance. After all, it's not like they live a private, secluded existence. Every single aspect of their relationship plays out for reality TV cameras and the paparazzi lens. I thought wrong. During a sit-down on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kim shared some really surprising details about her life with Kanye. It's nothing I would have ever expected.
First up, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star dished on the wedding plans. She admitted that she and Kanye were recently in Paris and toured the Palace of Versailles. But contrary to the many, many reports, they did not try to convince the French government to let them wed there. They just wanted to see the storied building.
However, she did cop to the fact they do plan to marry in Paris, calling it their "second home ... We spend so much time there, we have an apartment there. We really love it."
Not only that, Kanye is very hands-on when it comes to the wedding planning. "Kanye really cares and he's really passionate about it, so it makes my job so much easier," she said. "He knows what he wants and I love that about him. We're kind of taking different roles. He'll take care of the music and I'll take care of the seating chart ... So we're making it really easy on each other."
Though the biggest revelation was about how Kanye feels about her family, namely her mom. While Kris Jenner may annoy the heck out of just about everyone else in the world, the rapper seems to LOVE HER. How much? So much so, they are living with the momager while their house is being built. Clearly, this isn't a financial decision. The couple has enough money to rent out the entire Ritz-Carlton while they wait for their home to be finished. But they'd rather be surrounded by family.
He does have his limits, however. After sharing a condo with Kris while on vacation, Kanye was desperate for some couple time. "'Please, I just want alone time with us,' he pleaded." Kinda sweet, right?
