Jon Gosselin, father to eight children, is determined to have no more. So determined that he got a vasectomy. Congratulations, Jon!! Jon, you haven't done much in this life that I could look at and think, "Good on ya, Jon!" but this? This is tops, my man. So proud. Jon told TV host Wendy Williams about him and his girlfriend Liz Janetta:
No. We can’t have more kids. Yeah, I’m fixed.
Liz, herself a mom of three, probably doesn't want any more tykes either. Jon hasn't paid child support in, well, ever, but he claims his children are well taken care of, telling Wendy:
My kids go to private school. They also have trusts. They have education trusts. They have other trusts. Kate and I put 80 percent of the gross of the income in a trust for three years for them. They’re fine.
And Jon, who is still working at a restaurant ("working in the kitchen and other things besides waiting tables," he says mysteriously), seems to be doing okay these days too, as he must have gotten at least a few thou a pop for his spin on Couples Therapy. And at least Jon could afford a vasectomy unlike Dean McDermott.
Jon also took on the lawsuit that Kate filed against him for hacking into her emails to get information for a tell-all, saying:
That lawsuit is over. She dismissed the case. I guess I proved her wrong or she didn't want to continue down that road. But, Wendy, if I could do those things, I wouldn't be sitting here now. I'd be working for the NSA.
As for child support, Jon says that although he doesn't pay it, it's a mutual decision agreed upon by him, Kate, and a judge.
More From The Stir: Jon Gosselin Just Can't Keep His Mouth Shut About Ex-Wife Kate
I'm not a big Jon fan, but I thought what he said next was rather admirable (if it's true), which is that he spent half a million dollars fighting TLC in a lawsuit because he chose to quit the lucrative reality series rather than have his divorce documented so his "kids could see it in reruns."
That definitely would have been the time to want some privacy, and if he had to lose his riches to get it so his kids wouldn't have to see that, then kudos to Jon. If I ever find myself at his restaurant, I'll give him a big tip for that. Oh, and the vasectomy. Way to go, Jon.
Are you happy he had a vasectomy?
