Ugh. Are ya kidding me? Just when I was really starting to believe she didn't give a rat's ass about fame and fortune, Catherine Giudici went and bragged about having 250,000 Twitter followers -- indicating that she might dig life in the spotlight a lot more than she lets on.
And if she had simply said something along the lines of, "Wow! I can't believe I reached 250K followers, thanks guys!" -- I probably wouldn't have batted an eyelash at her comment.
But wait until you get a load of how she worded it.
Here's her tweet.
250k followers! I must be interesting or something... :) Thanks everyone!— Catherine Giudici (@clmgiudici) January 13, 2014
Really? "I must be interesting or something ..."?
Yeah, "or something" is right. It's called people are obsessed with you because they watched you fall in love and get engaged on TV and they'll sort of be in attendance at your wedding since that's going to be televised too.
I don't blame Catherine one bit for loving all the attention her relationship with Sean Lowe has given her -- but hopefully she won't let fame go to her head too much. If she does, she's in for an unpleasant surprise after she and Sean get hitched and the dust settles after their big TV wedding.

You know where I'm going with this, right? Exactly. No one is really going to care about them anymore after they are married. Where's the drama in that?
Bachelor and Bachelorette couples in the past have quickly been forgotten after they've said their vows -- that's just the way it works. Even Ashley Hebert admits her life is boring now that she and J.P. Rosenbaum are man and wife. Oh come on ... you remember Ashley and J.P., don't you? The cute Bachelorette from the northernmost town in Maine and the sexy-as-hell dude from NYC? (I rest my case.)
Once they've said, "I do," the only thing that will possibly keep Sean and Catherine in the limelight is if she winds up knocked up after their honeymoon. Come to think of it, we can probably bet on her turning up preggo, considering just how long she and Sean have abstained from doing the dirty. Huh. Making up for lost time could be the best thing to happen to their careers -- or at least to their continued popularity.
Do you think Catherine sounds addicted to fame?
