Farrah Abraham just gave me hope, you guys. The reality-star-turned-porn-star has finally admitted that she regrets making her infamous sex tape Backdoor Teen Mom. And not in a “sorry not sorry” kind of way either -- but in full on regret mode.
The Teen Mom 2 star told In Touch Weekly, “If I went back in time, I would not have done it,” and even went so far as to say, “the sex tape ruined my life.”
This is quit the turn of events from the 22-year-old mom of four-year-old Sophia. She’s totally defended her “private” tape (I use quotes there because she’s the one that sold it to Vivid Entertainment. And also her costar is bona fide porn star James Deen. I’m thinking that if you make a sex tape with a porn star, you’re not just doing it for your own private collection., but maybe that’s just me.) in the past as a “celebration” of her body.
The body she keeps changing with plastic surgery? But I digress …

Anyway, Farrah admitted last fall that maybe the sex tape wasn’t the best idea, but it looks like she’s finally admitting that the whole thing was a terrible idea from start to finish. She said that her time on Couples Therapy has helped her realize that she has more value than just her body.
“Therapy helped me understand I can’t continue experiencing life [the way I have been], that I’m more special than sex tapes … Hearing others tell me my worth is [all based on] my body … I’m stronger than that.”
Good for her! It’s never too late to admit mistakes and right the course for your life. And now that Sophia is four, she’s at the stage when she’s going to start remembering things, and all girls need their mom to be a good role model. And porn is not a good role model for female empowerment.
What do you think brought about Farrah’s change of heart?
