From notes about her sisters to seemingly passive-aggressive lash-outs at soon-to-be ex Lamar, Khloe Kardashian loves posting inspirational quotes or other vague but somehow hint-dropping messages on her Instagram account. Case in point: A big, red, splashy motivational quote she posted the other day that reads, "Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you HIGHER! Life is already filled with those who want to bring you down." Okay, cool, thanks for the tip, Khlo.
But then, likely after fans jumped to conclusions that the quote was meant to slam Lamar or maybe even the paparazzi/tabloid media, she got super-defensive with the following tweet ...
Stop making nothing in2 something. If I wanted 2direct something towards some1 u will know. Im posting things I personally enjoy. Get a life— Khloé (@khloekardashian) December 28, 2013
Eesh, all right already! We get it. This isn't the first time Khloe has bemoaned the attention directed at her social media use. And yet, she continues to post things that get us talking! Ridic. Also, to boil it down to things she "personally enjoys"? If she personally enjoys something, it must mean something to Khloe or else what's the point of her posting it in the first place?! Hellooo!
But really, this whole "Look at me! look at me ... no, wait, don't look at me! Leave me alone!" act is getting kinda old. As many have said before, it's hard to feel sympathy for someone who makes a living putting their personal life out there.
Looks like we just have to face the facts: Almost everything a Kardashian does is done with some sort of ulterior publicity motive -- whether it's something the Kardashians will admit to or not.
What do you think about Khloe's angry tweets? Does it make you feel more or less sympathetic about the attention she gets?
