The on-again, off-again celebrity couple phenomenon known as John Mayer and Katy Perry has had us on the edge of our seats for a while now. Given John's track record for being a commitaphobe and Katy's penchant for bad boys who turn out to be Mr. Wrong, we've wondered if these two could possibly make it work. Well, now, with the debut of music video for their duet, "Who You Love," on Good Morning America this morning, we finally have proof they mean business ... in their relationship and when it comes to putting out music together.
The song itself is beyond sweet, catchy, mellow, so listenable, so it deserved a video to match. And that's exactly what these two lovebirds delivered.
John explained the cool concept behind the vid:
We set the casting call up for real couples. It's just so authentic -- they were having a great time. There's nothing scripted in that video except putting the bull in the middle of the desert.

To which Katy added:
Relationships are kind of like riding a bull -- you hold on for dear life. Sometimes you get a little a little buck here and there, but you get back on.
Yup, sounds about right. And super-fitting for these two. Check it out ...
Love it. From afar, from paparazzi pics, even from the appearances they've made at awards shows together, it was a bit hard to tell if these two actually had lasting chemistry. But judging from this, I'm convinced they could last. Did you see how Katy rubs John's back while watching the vid together? Awww. They're outrageously sweet together! So happy they're cool with sharing that with the world now.
What do you think about John and Katy's new video? How 'bout their chemistry?
