OMG people, I don't know if the new Batman vs. Superman movie can handle all this hotness. First we have Henry Cavill as Superman, and you know how sexy he is. I actually think he is one of the best-looking dudes in existence and have been a fan since his Count of Monte Cristo days. Jawline. Blue eyes. Accent. Damn. Ok we also have Ben Affleck as Batman, who's definitely a handsome dude in his own right, perhaps a bit of a questionable choice, but if you were married to a man who looked like Ben, you wouldn't complain. And now we have the moon of my life, my sun and stars, Jason Momoa negotiating to play an unknown role in the flick.
Yes, Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones will hopefully be gracing the silver screen in what has to be one of the best collections of hot men ever. Khal Drogo was the shit. Rumor has it he will be cast as Doomsday or Martian Manhunter -- but I just hope I won't be devastated over the future he could've had with Daenerys whenever he's on-screen.
Anyway, here's a little background on who Momoa may potentially play. Doomsday is, in a word, a sociopath, who kills without feeling or sentiment and loves to destroy the crap out of stuff. He was a result of a sadistic experiment of evolution on Krypton and is best known for killing Superman (they beat each other to death). Can you imagine a pretty boy Cavill vs. buff, badass Momoa showdown?
Martian Manhunter, on the other hand, is a superhero and one of the members of the Justice League of America. He's from Mars and has abilities similar to Superman; he's got a ton of powers, and listing them would make take a few thousand words. Apparently Superman once said of Manhunter, "He is the most powerful being on the face of the Earth." But this could be a great role for Momoa because that would most likely mean he'd star in any future Justice League movies and we'd get to see a lot more of his beautiful face/body and that's a really, really good thing.
Come on, he even had the Mother of Dragons smitten. Not too many men can say that.
It may be hard to separate Jason from his iconic Game of Thrones character, but he played such a memorable part in one of the series' most tragic, heartbreaking love stories. It'll be exciting to see what he can do as a superhero/supervillain, and I have a feeling he will not disappoint. Zack Snyder is set to direct the sequel to Man of Steel, which is scheduled to premiere on July 17, 2015. Seems so far away! But hopefully news on exactly which role Momoa is playing will be released soon ... and we have Game of Thrones season 4 to look forward to this spring as well! "Until the sun rises in west and sets in the east, until the rivers run dry and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves ..."
What do you think of Khal Drogo being cast in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie?
